The Music House Badge.
To earn "The Music House" badge the applicant must put on a concert/performance of at least twenty minutes length for an audience of at least five people at home. They must film the concert in full and submit the link via youtube.
The purpose of this badge is to encourage our students to bring their music into their homes and share the journey with their families and friends.
Get The Concert Ready
- Pick the songs you are going to perform.
- Time your performance and make sure you have enough material to cover the performance time.
- Get your video recording device ready and working.
- Choose your concert date and location.
- Choose and invite your audience. Do special invitations and make it a big deal.
- Practice!
Run and Film The Concert
- Dress well on the day.
- Warm up before the show.
- Double check your recording gear is ready and working before starting.
- Perform for your audience not just play.
- Introduce your songs and talk about why you chose them.
Submit The Concert Online
- Get the footage from the concert from your device and upload it to youtube.
- Send us the link at [email protected]
- We will not be judging your application on video/sound quality, but on the quality of the performance.
